Your new nesting box is built from 25mm hardwood marine plywood for superior insulation and longevity in our harsh Australian weather conditions. One of the thickest production boxes currently for sale in Australia. This extra thickness helps with insulation. The nest box stays cool in summer and warm in winter.

Included are drainage holes in the base to allow any mess inside the box to easily drain away.

The roof is hinged for easy access, viewing and maintenance. All hinges are stainless steel for the longevity of the box. The roofs have a pitched roof to help quickly shed away any rainwater.

Our tree attachment system is designed to expand as the host tree grows with age. This means no screws damaging the tree or strangling the tree as can happen with a fixed wire system.

Entrance holes are slightly rounded to allow safe and comfortable entry and exit for animals.

Grooving is applied externally and internally for the animals to easily grip when entering and exiting the box.

All our boxes are screwed and glued together for strength and waterproofing.

We can add emergency exits as an optional extra. This offers animals a safe alternative exit if a snake, goanna or other predator attempts to enter via the main entrance.

2. Although each box is designed for a specific target species by the size of the entrance hole and internal volume we cannot guarantee that other animal species will take up residence.
